Disney World: Orlando's Main Attraction
Going back to the time when you were still a kid, did you ever wish you could be a part of Mickey Mouse's entourage? Or maybe perhaps stay on some enchanted place where rainbows and laughter are always found just around the corner? Did you sometimes wish you can reach stars and exhilaration that only comes from being a child? When you were watching any of Walt Disney's cartoons, did you sometimes wish a place just like that existed? Well, in Orlando, there is.
Walt Disney World has long been Orlando's premiere and prime tourist attraction. No visit to the sunny city is complete without dropping by this great theme park. If you're planning on visiting and scouring every inch of it, though, prepare to stay in Orlando for a little bit more; Walt Disney World encompasses an area of over 30,000 acres of pure fun and excitement.
Space buffs, for example, can enjoy the space-themed rides of "Space Mountain". You can also bering your whole family to outer space with the fun and engrossing "Mission: Space". Let loose the mountaineering side of you by racing down mountains at "Downhill Double Dipper" or face gigantic dinosaurs just like the movies in "Dinosaurs". Even Aerosmith fans have a cause to celebrate as they can rock on with them in "Rock n' Roller Coaster".
Small tikes can have a blast on the different attraction of "Fun For Little Ones". The kids can giggle to their hearts content at "Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor", become a pilot in "Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin", meet the characters of Finding Nemo in "The Seas with Nemo and Friends", or tickle their senses in "Journey Into Imagination with Figment. They can also play in the snow at "Tike's Peak" or splash at "Ketchakidde Creek".
Live performances are also available for those who want to meet their favorite Disney characters in the flesh. "Finding Nemo: The Musical", "Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade", and "Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage" are all wonderful shows that will surely bring back your fondest Disney memories. Even the teens of today can sing along with the "High School Musical Pep Rally", which is a based off the popular TV show.
All of this is wonderfully ended with a brilliant and dazzling fireworks display at the end of the day. Whether you're a kid or just young at heart (or even if you're not), you owe it to yourself to visit one of Earth's most magical, and enjoyable, places.
